Title: early KTM
Post by: Norman Anderson on October 30, 2015, 01:32:54 PM
I have a carcass from an early KTM I'm trying to find out info on.
it looks like an Enduro of some kind
Cylinder head has the number 54 30 006 000

I can't read all the frame number but looks like the last few numbers are/might be
605 98503

any thoughts what it might be?

54 on the head would indicate a 250. If 605 are the first three of the frame number that would indicate a build date of May '76.

It looks from the frame # and head casting # that you have a 76 250 Cross Country model, probably with an orange gas tank. Mike
