He'll need to pull out a 125 "d" engine for me in Atlanta.

Shawn and I are both looking for engines.

There are plenty of Sachs engines out there.  I buy very nice ones when they become available and I keep them for my next build.  I have several D engines (one NOS) and other complete engines.  I pay a lot of money for nice engines, but I pass on a lot of them.  I would suggest you let people know how much you are willing to pay and that may bring some out for sale?

Larry Good, GoodDirt on the site, and a very nice guy, posts on the site frequently and has lots of Penton parts and engines as I understand it from others posts. He lives out West I believe, but is not afraid to ship. Look for posts on here from him, Mike

Michael and Ron, thank you.
As every "newbie" will do, we start out with gobs of enthusiasm and when presented with the buy-it-now resources that you guys have, you see them back away.

Don't know about Shawn, but unless a 125 "d" engine (gots to do some more learnin here) dropped in my lap I wouldn't know what to do with it.

Stick with the slow and steady plan, the frame goes out for powdercoating on Friday, engine worries will be handled in due time. Again, looks like the resources are out there. Thanks, all.

Ron at 3949 posts I'm following your lead.
To reciprocate, do you need any help with a '83-'91 BMW 325/e30 or a Dodge/Cummins Turbo Diesel? I've got some knowledge on those two subjects.

Ballpark, how expensive are the engines, core and running?

Now, tell me you are close by to Atlanta GA and you will have made my day.

Robert I am not close to Atlanta (Kerrville,TX), but I have Friends over your way as I worked for Honda (Factory) in the 1970/80's and made a lot of nice and fast Friends in the Georgia/Alabama area.  Sachs engines vary so widely in pricing as I have one I have $3500 in, but it is new and it is for a special project.  I also watch for any engines that were built by Doug Wilford.

I am looking for a B motor.
I found a brand new motor locally for 2200. I was hoping for a used running motor. It will be restored so it can run and is rideable.... This bike is going in my living room
