Title: 72 JackPiner Taillight Picture

I need a picture of the taillight and license plate bracket for a 72 JP with aluminum fenders for my restoration.  I am also looking for any suppliers who might have any of the pieces.  I have only been able to find one supplier for a set of repro fenders on Ebay.  Thanks ahead of time.  Tim C

Here's a photo of a rear light.  You are looking for a small rectangular light (occasionally one pops up) and the rubber plate holder (no current exact repops).  The one on Ebay is closer to an original than the Motion Pro I put on mine.

I ended up using the The Motion Pro Al has available and put an NOS original light that came with the bike on the shelf.

Thanks for the pictures and info.  Dale, is that a before and after of your bike?  If so, great job it looks awesome.  It is exactly what I am striving for!

This is another hard metal bracket and tail light that can be seen in the Jackpiner Owners manual for 72/73 models.  Some must have been rubber, some metal.

Here's what looks like that ebay repop on my bike.  It's real close to the real thing-- uses a truck marker light.  Good luck!

The Ebay listing Keith linked to is by one of our favorite martians Paul Danik.  That is the same light that came with mine but of course a different bracket.  Perhaps we can get some more history on the use of the metal bracket.

This is the same light/plate holder as installed on my '72.  I'd very much like to have a pattern made of the rubber plate holder and have some reproduced :)

Check out the back of the associated parts manual, it will give photos of the lighting options available for that model/year
