1975 Penton Six-Day 125cc. Frame number 412 80393. Mfg. date Dec. '74. Last Penton / KTM model produced using Sachs engine. End of the "Six-Day" 125 model. Produced for 2 months ONLY. My guess is that there were apx. 550 of these units made. You can not easily find this model Penton. Price reflects rarity of model.
First 125 Penton with long travel / lay-down rear suspension. 1 lower shock mount, and 3 upper shock mounts to choose from.
Unrestored, complete, low miles, and original except for a few parts. New fenders, new tires, new seat cover, new tank decals, handlebars are not OEM. Everything has original paint, except the RH side panel over the exhaust. Cosmetically, the bike is way too nice not to doctor up a used oem side panel, to see what the finished bike would look like, and was the only part that was missing. The LH side panel / air box cover is original to the bike. These are made from a very brittle plastic and sometimes did not last a week. Still has evidence of the original disclaimer sticker. This one has one easily repairable crack, very nice part that keeps the bike original. There is not a single junk, unuseable part on the bike. Keep as is, or restore to your liking.
The MX 1.8 gal. gas tank has the original gel-coat finish, and is just about as nice of a tank as you will find anywhere, almost perfect. I have NOS tanks that are not as nice as this one. Seat has aluminum base, and is in beautiful condition.
None of the parts, fasteners, odds and ends were polished, plated, or painted. I just took it apart, cleaned and inspected the pieces, and put it back together.
Could use sprockets, and chain if riding. Rear shocks (NJB) are fine to look at, but would not work for riding. Small upper chain guard tab / bracket on swingarm needs re-welding. Exhaust pipe is original to the bike, it has a few dings in it, nothing awful, and has not been repainted.
Starts and runs fine. "D" model engine. Top-end was just refreshed with new rings. I repaired the engine case (epoxy) where it was broken from a thrown chain. It has 6 speeds, a 28mm Bing carb, Moto-Plat ignition, no broken cylinder, or head fins. RH engine case is unbroken, has 6D ID Tag.

Sweet Ride Bob ! I have #412 80190.I think it's the BEST HANDLING Penton I own. Price seems very reasonable.
Hello Karl, Good to hear from you. I totally agree, thanks.
This bike is no longer for sale, thanks.
Thanks for the bike Bob.

Thank you very much Ron. Knowing how much you appreciate this particular year and model Penton, I'm happy it's landed in your hands. You know as well as I, it's smarter and safer to invest in the ones that are in short supply. Enjoy, and have fun. Bob
Thank you Bob and as time goes along the short supply models of Pentons are getting so hard to find especially in this condition.
