I need to know what kind of oil and amount to use in the engine in a 125 sixday 1973 . I am redoing this bike got it last year at vintage days. getting it back in the woods. I also need the heat sheld for exhaust thanks for all help jeff from Indiana.

Welcome to the group. You'll get all sorts of opinions but I use Type F ATF (automatic trans fluid) and change it often...seems it takes 700cc. Also do not use the drain plug but rather remove the motor side cover and drain into a pan. The threads of the old aluminum strip easily.
