Title: spoke kits
Post by: William Burmeister on August 13, 2002, 10:43:45 AM
Anyone know if there are spoke kits available for both front and rear wheels for a 1974 Penton 250? Thanks for the tips on finding new engine cases - found a great set!

William,
speedand sport can get you some.
If you get stainless i would opt for brass nipples crome plated. They are much easier to deal with and dont run a chance of galling when tightened.
here is the web addy

I don't know what Matt is selling (S&S) but it's hard to beat Buchanans. Send them a sample of each and the quantity and they will make them up for you. I've put on several sets and they are great.
He may be just ordering them from Buchanans anyway. BTW, Matt is a great guy to get parts from.

I agree with what Chris says. They have gotten so good you can just call them and tell them you need a set for a 197? Penton 125 and the have them. Between Chris, myself and many others, they now have a code for almost all Pentons  and can shoot them out in just a day or so.
