Title: Mountaineer Vintage Enduro Rules
Post by: Richard Colahan on February 16, 2016, 05:11:19 PM
The rules for the Mountaineer Vintage Enduro being held at McKee's Sky Ranch on Saturday 7/23 are now posted on the AHRMA web site.
We're looking for quite a few vintage and post-vintage Pentons and KTM's...OK...AND a few Huskys to turn out!

Richard,

Under the rules, a "programmable" computer will not be allowed.  Would a Trial Tech Endurance II model be okay?  Thanks!  Jl

Will there be various speed averages or just one with resets?

There will be just a few speed average changes...as well as mileage resets to get riders back on time after a points taking section.
Note that we'll be providing a route sheet that includes all of the mileages with key time arrival minutes to all riders.
So...no staying up till mid-night writing one up on adding machine paper like in the old days...
Just put the route/time sheet in your R/S holder, set your clock to read 00:00 at your start minute...and you're good to go!
And if you DON'T have an odometer...not an issue...
Just stay close to on-time at the posted Major Turns and you'll do fine.

Both my 1973 enduroized CR250m and Puch 175 have VDO Enduro racer "speedos".  These "compute" 24mph only.  Anything else and they are just an odometer.  Will this be allowed?
