Post by: Kip Kern on March 14, 2016, 07:47:21 AM
Thanks again to the Rik Smits Swap in Lebanon Indiana Sunday, had a great time and also had a chance to visit with a bunch of POG members.  Great day, hope everyone was safe going home.  Can't wait for next year!;)

Kip,

It was wonderful seeing you again along with some of our other POG members who were there. I almost didn't recognize you with that big beard that you are growing. Since I mentioned your beard, Danny came walking in the door about 2 minutes after you left. I missed seeing Forest Stahl. He usually comes to that event.

It was a great swap meet. All the indoor vendor spaces were sold out. Rick is going to have it in one of the larger buildings next year.

I had my brother Dale wearing his "DECAL KING" outfit. He doesn't like the "Clown" outfit.

Thanks to Rik Smits and his wife for organizing the metric swap meet in Lebanon IN. This was my third visit to this meet and I always find most of the items on the list I bring for my latest project! This time some parts for a 1972 six day Penton. Thanks to Kip for his help and to Gary Ellis. Thanks to Al and Dale for bringing parts I ordered and for their
friendship and providing the parts needed to keep our Pentons running.

I picked up a good IRC trials tire for the front of my TS185 project bike for free, and an NOS Dunlop Sports Senior 3.00-21 knobby for $10 that is a good vintage compliment for a NOS Dunlop Sports K595 HT rear that I bought at Mid-Ohio a couple years ago, and a couple of things from AL. My fiance' bought a nice KTM sweatshirt, and a pair of KTM youth riding pants for our young son for $5 each. It was definitely a good Day! Mike
