For the guys here who like the big bore KTM's here's one that might be of interest.

Not a 420, a 400.

I stand corrected. Was having trouble blowing up the pic on my phone. Edited the listing.

I ended up buying that bike. Very solid and strong motor. Just needed some routine maintenance(new fork seals, new shocks, air filter, new rear tire, etc...) and a cosmetic makeover (touch up paint, a couple of pieces of new plastic, and new graphics). Look forward to getting it out on the trail.

What was the asking price? I am just trying to keep an eye on the values. There is an unrestored 1979 250 on ebay now with an $1800 start. Thanks for any help.
The asking price on CL was $1500.00.
Nice buy on a great bike!
Thanks Jeff!

Loved those bikes but disliked the airbox setup.

Richard,
I've been a member of PVR for 11 years, and am usually out there racing. However, I haven't been able to race full-time for the past couple of years due to a medical condition. Hopefully, it should be all cleared up by July, and I'll be able to get back out there very soon!
Regards,
John
