What is are sun rim pins ? sorry if that sounds daft.

Max,

Instead of rim locks the sun rims had tiny holes countersunk into the inner lip of the rim. There were tiny little pointed aluminum pins(18 per rim) that popped into these countersunk holes with a tight fit. When the tire was on the pointy pins kept the bead of the tire from spinning on the rim. I hope that is clear as I am not the best explainer.

Did you get your sidepanels okay?
