Title: My new 1972 Six Day
Post by: Richio1 on September 27, 2016, 12:36:48 PM
Check out the bike I bought from J & S Cycle in Emporia, Kansas.  Base price was $ 859 on September 12, 1972.  I was seventeen years old at the time.
I did some motocross, a couple of enduros and some hare scrambles back in the 70's.  I have kept it nearby ever since and have been  restoring it, gradually,
over a number of years. Some parts are original, others not. Frame No. 20354062.  Looks like new!
This is my first post, although I have been a Pogger for a dozen years. Please forgive whatever isn't right. . .

Awesome bike, and even better since you've owned it since new!  I have a 1978 390 Husky I bought from Gene Ritchie at Red Bud.  It's retired now and I only show it.  In fact, my wife lets me keep it in the house!
