Title: engine noise silencer for head

can any of you ISDT riders tell me what was used to silcence engine noise on cylinder heads? i have seen something that looks like wide rubber bands  used in pistures. what material were the bands made from?
 i need to add some to my 175/5 and the sons piner.

Hi John, I am not a ISDT rider, but I used to play one. I used a 4.50 rear inner tube, cut apx. 1 1/2" wide, to stretch over the Sachs head, I don't know how that will work on a KTM. Give it a try. Bobby Uhl.
