Yes. This is a very good article about gas needs. Read your manual to find out what rating you need and save your money. Higher Octane then needed will actually reduce the explosion in the cylinder resulting in LESS power Older bikes that are air cooled will really benefit from the proper octane rating, the addition of lead will not help a 2 stroke, BUT will help lube the valves of the early 4 strokes. Stop blowing your money out your exhaust pipe.. :D Amherst Paul
