could some one help me with timing of 1974 sach motor with a moto plat timing. I need to know degrees BTDC.

Degrees? As measured with a degree wheel mounted on the end of the crank?
Or piston distance btdc as measured by a dial indicator?
2 different things...

3mm btdc is the later...
