Post by: Bob on October 11, 2000, 08:09:47 PM
Was a horn original equipment on a '72 Jackpiner with the enduro kit ?

Where does it mount on the bike ?

I have a '72 Jackpiner that I bought new, and it has no horn. It is possible that some bikes had one, but, not to my knowledge.

I bought an ISDT new in 1973 and licensed it for street so I could ride it to school. I was 16 years old! I don't know if it was legal, but I found one of those cool old chrome bike horns with the black bulb, it worked great. Not the little tiny ones for a kiddy bike, this had a bulb about 2 1/2" diameter and honked pretty good.
You could also rig up just about any kind of bike horn with a relay.
Chris.
