Picked up a barnfind with 35mm Marzocchi forks and air caps. I've never messed with air caps. What's a good psi starting point?

This topic brings to mind an old Ed Hertfelder story from the mid 70's...I'll try to paraphrase:
" Last year everyone was putting air valves in their fork caps to bleed off built-up air pressure in their forks. It was last year's "hot set-up". This year everyone is putting air valves in their fork caps to add air pressure in their fork legs. It's this year's "hot set-up"..."
