What's the best way you guys have discovered to ship parts? Motor, forks, etc.
Who do you use?
I have used the United States Postal Service almost exclusively and am very pleased with their pricing and service. Our local post office employees are very friendly and helpful. There is tracking on the shipments within the United States.
I do recommend taking great care in boxing the items for shipment. I bubble-wrap the items and use Gorilla tape on the seams and on the outside of the box to insure it does not open during shipment.
Good quality boxes can usually be found at the local grocery store or local hardware store. The local grocery in town is owned by a former Penton rider so access to their stash of in demand boxes is not an issue.
I am sure that UPS and Fed-Ex are good as well, but they are not as convenient for me.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Paul is definitely correct on making sure your boxes are well packed with the USPS, I have received more damaged boxes from the Post Office than UPS or FedEx. Someone shipped me a USPS box with a pair of Marzocchi shocks, when the box arrived, it was empty, ripped open from rough handling, postman said "I don't know why this is even getting delivered". USPS was no help in recovering shocks.

Fed Ex is usually cheapest and fairly reliable for big items. I use Post office for small things.
Thanks guys!
Doug Wilford had me ship him a bubble wrapped and padded motor in an old cooler of the appropriate size. He repaired it and shipped it back in the same cooler. Worked like a charm. I can't remember what shipper we used.
