I was looking at MF3 fuel from Tractor Supply, which has no Ethanol. To use in my 1977 GS6 175 Penton.
So what two cycle oil should I be using?
Ed,
Both Golden Spectro and Platinum Spectro are great choices.
Thanks,
Kevin
What about the fuel with no ethanol that sold at Tractor Supply?
It's called trufuel tf3 $23. a gallon
You should look for a gas station in your area that sells non e fuel, be alot cheaper
I don't know where you live, but there are web sites that show where you can buy no-ethanol gasoline. It is usually at e separate pump and is clearly marked.Min some areas it has to be where it can not be put into vehicles, for some reason. I was in north central Missouri recently and a chain type gas station/convenience store I stopped at all the pumps were ethanol free. It usually runs a bit more that regular priced gas with 10% ethanol. If you are near a lake or river with a marina, you can probably get it there also.
Type at you later,

Yeah I'm in the Northeast just south of Boston Massachusetts
One of the only states that doesn't sell non E. You're gonna have to cross the border into Rhode Island to find a station.
Another option is race fuel.

Ed,
Not sure of places in Mass, but in RI I get ethanol free 110 Octane Cam2 racing fuel at this place. Generally $12 a gallon.

I use VP Vintage, sold at many M/C shops.
I've used both leaded and unleaded...both are E-0.
5 gallon pail usually about $60.
I consider it cheap insurance.
I use Maxima oil at 40/1...many opinions on THAT subject...
