I have had shocks rebuilt there in the past. So....they are now out of business and shut down?

I went to Works today. They were all locked up. There were some stacks of catalogs in the lobby but the display shocks on the wall were gone. It appears they are closed.

Wow - I've had Drew Smith's WER suspension rebuild one pair and I was thinking of sending him another this Winter.  The first actually had a bent shaft, the 2nd it's just the once over, but makes me wonder what the parts situation will be.

There are a LOT of the WP shocks out there in our vintage scene. I've done great by them.

I talked to Randy Lee Brown and he knew personally that the shop had been cleaned out so inventory may have been sold off, but hard to tell where the remainder is at this time. We both hope someone picks up the business and keeps it going. Mike

I was thinking the same thing: there were a lot of those shocks sold. As they say in I.T. a large "installed user base" which will require parts/maintenance. Not to mention the reputation built up over the years.
Strange that the business would just go away, but sounds like an opportunity for somebody.

I am pretty sure Thor Lawson at Evolution Suspension rebuilds works shocks. He makes a lot of the parts for Fox Airshox so maybe he does for works also.
