Recently there was a very similar auction bike listed on Ebay. Bidding stopped at $3300 and did not meet reserve. I am posting the information for the original owner of this nice original.
I looked at the unit on EBay and it is very similar to mine, or so it appears. A few differences:
• I am the original owner. I have the title issued on 5/15/1974 along with the original registration certificate made out to me.
• My enduro kit came with the bike from the dealer and has 517 miles on it. There is no assurance the EBay unit has 700 miles with an aftermarket speedo. My enduro kit includes the leather toolkit with all tools.
• Everything on my bike is original including the tires.
• I have all of the manuals and decals in the plastic bag provided by the dealer.
• One caveat, I haven't started my bike in 10 years. I have no concern on it starting. I live in a gated neighborhood and motorcycles are not allowed. When last started I ran it dry, pulled the spark plug and have kept the cylinder lubed over the years.
