Title: 1975 Penton/KTM
Post by: Jay Brown on December 21, 2017, 11:31:20 PM
I was told that the 1975 250 Penton was AHRMA sportsman legal if you don't put the shocks in the laydown position and use the more vertical position. Does anyone know for sure if that's true. Or would I need to race it in the Post Modern class. There aren't that many AHRMA races out here so I wanted to be sure before I headed out there.

It is legal but not in the laydown or forward mounted position.  In traditional or shortest travel position it is right at 4 inches and that is legal.  If your shocks were sprung for laydown you will need softer springs in the traditional position.
