I am currently restoring a 1976 175cc Jackpiner. At this point, I am replacing the swing arm bearings. I have the new bearings, but am having difficulty removing the old ones. I have tried heating the swing arm and tapping on the bearing housing without success. If there are any "tricks of the trade", I would know what they are.
Thanks,
Davelar
I replaced the swing arm bearings on an old Husky which I restored. I also had a hard time. My friend has a machine shop and I used his press to press them out along with some heat.
