Title: Early 76 125 GS125 KTM/Penton
Post by: Larry Perkins on January 29, 2018, 08:23:52 AM
All the 76 model 125s I have seen were orange.  Just ran into one that was made in October of 75.  It is a GS and has the big bazooka pipe but a green watermelon tank and a red airbox.  This is a GS model and not an MC5.  Does anyone like Paul or someone more privy to the inside remember if any early ones used parts like this or have this been pieced together?  Thanks for any help on this oddity.

All 1976 Pentons are orange. The 125 had a toaster green tank ,painted orange from the factory. All had orange air boxes. I think this one was pieced together.  Larry I sent an email to you with some photos.
