Want to buy a nice condition right side cover for a 77 400 MC5. Orange with yellow number plate. Does not need to be nos, just not cracked or broken. If nothing is available, what are some good options? I am familiar with the DC plastics products, but what else is out there? Thanks much.

Me too, for my 76 MC5 400. I have two plastic panels that I have painted orange that were white, but I would like to find a Match to my NOS left hand side. I do have a nice pair of NOS red ones with green number plates. Mike

I have some new aftermarket white plastic ones that were made back then. Can't recall the manufacturer . I will dig them up if you are interested.

Yes, they are "Hi-Point dirt champion by Faulk".
For some crazy reason I have 7 left and only 1 right side. One "set" has number plate backgrounds but has never been drilled. The rest are all new with40 years of dust

I do'nt know what proper protocol is on this forum, but since I posted this inquiry I would appreciate a oppurtunity to perhaps purchase a pair of the sidecovers you mentioned. These are not like the Originals that you asked about but I am just getting a left one so Carl has a set if that is the kind you want.  They are milk jug white color.

Thanks Lee Buffenmyer, I now have a nice NOS RH side panel for my 76 MC5 400 to match the left-hand side one that I already had. Patience is a virtue. Mike
PS. If I would have just seen it before I bought the very expensive pair of them on eBay, now I have an extra set. LOL
