Title: KTM 250 Engine Rebuild
Post by: Brentb on May 12, 2018, 08:18:10 PM
Hello,

I have a HS 250 engine I need rebuilt. I starts, runs, shifts, and idles. However it leaks like a spaghetti strainer.  I tried Gary Ellis but haven't heard back. Not sure he's doing them still.

I'm in AZ.

Can anyone recommend a reliable resource for a rebuild.

PS Don't forget to call your mom tomorrow. :)

Did you call Garys phone number? 217-260-0237, or did you send an in-house email? Sometimes they don't go through. Gary just finished rebuilding a early 1980 250 engine for me, and has core engines if there's a problem with the engine cases. I highly recommend him. Mike

I too would recommend Gary.  He does great work, and is straight forward with you, plus he has a wealth of knowledge to back up the mechanical aspect of the work.
