In my manual and I Quote"When choke is moved to off position,no part of the choke slide should show in the carburetor throat when throttle is wide open" I find it is completely exposed. Am I missing something here or is it a misprint? Or do I have something assembled wrong?
Richard,
For the chokes that are inside the slide, the "off position" is when the cable has tension on it and the choke slide is hidden inside the slide. The "on-position" is when the cable is slack and the choke is visible below the bottom of the slide. I always found these confusing too because "most chokes" are on when the cable is pulled and this one is just the opposite.
Thanks,
Kevin
Thanks Kevin. That sure explains a lot funny tho in the manual it doesn't show the choke in the off position would make things a lot simpler!
