I have an NOS (!) exhaust for 1972/73 Jackpiner gathering dust in my garage rafters. I would be quite eager to trade for good condition exhaust for my 1977 GS 250 Enduro chrome tip style. I would also be happy to buy one outright. Thanks
If your bike is a 77 GS-6 it would not have a chrome tip exhaust. GS-6 6 pipes are unique in design and only shared with the 1978 slightly different version, consists of a very large shrouded rear pipe section with a very large bolt on silencer. If you can post your frame number from the steering head of the bike, we can determine the exact model that you have. If it is in fact a GS-6 requiring the large exhaust those are extremely hard to find. Do you have a price in mind for the NOS pipe?
Generally, I would imagine an OEM NOS item should be worth more than a repop. But I thought this should be worth $400. You can tell me if I'm wrong
