Title: 77 GS6 250
Post by: johnacapp on October 04, 2018, 01:30:06 PM
Fellow POGER's,
I purchased a 77 GS6 250 that has a motocross exhaust and I am looking to reto-fit a "quieter muffler with a U.S. Forestry approved spark arrestor.

Currently I'm looking at a Supertrapp universal as an option.

But I'm open to advise if anyone out there has done what I am attempting and could share what works best not only would shorten my learning curve but would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hey John, I have a MC 5 that I cut the original muffler off where it was welded onto the pipe.  I then welded a short piece of 1" pipe into the end of the bike pipe, and used that to attach my FMF Turbocore II to.
