Title: 1970 Penton ??
Post by: t20sl on September 28, 2002, 10:53:55 AM
Just purchased a complete 1970 Penton Six-Days serial number V1757.  Had one way back as my first bike.  This is a one owner but has a screw on type cap not a flip top as I remember.  Also head is a radial finned on top of cast iron cylinder.  Is this correct head?  If not where might I find one?  Also handlebars has a curved crossbar, could this be original.  Bike has been well kept and runs fairly well.  Seat cover has wide rolls and pleats, Know of any photos of completely stock 1970's?  Only photos I have are with me on bike covered in mud.  Ted

YOUR BIKE IS PROBABLY A 1969 MODEL, IT MAY HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO 152 CC. THAT IS WHY THE RADIAL HEAD WAS INSTALLED.
