Title: Mint 400 tool bag and rack question

Did the Mint 400 come with a tool bag (black boxy leather with two buckles like on the earlier bikes) and a tool rack? Was this an add on?

Yes, accessory through Hipoint.

Was the tool rack a Penton part? I've seen them on the 125 six days bike - same one?

It did not come stock it was also an accessory.  May have at one time come in the Enduro kit but as an accessory.  If they were on the bike at the dealer I believe it would have been dealer installed.  They were very common especially with enduro and trail riders.

On the 1974 1/2 on up (tanks with the cable straps) we used the Hipoint tank bags.
