Are DC Plastics seat pans rigid like Penton OEM fiberglass? Are they a good/accurate alternative? Also, is there such a thing as a "Short" 18" aluminum seat base? Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

I have seen a few aluminum "short" 18" seat bases over the years, but not many. I have no experiance with the DC plastics seat pans. If you are looking for a short steel seat pan I think I do have one, but I would have to look to be sure.

I purchased a DC Plastics pan and its as rigid as original fiberglass . Good alternative for when I needed one there was no OEM's around that were in any shape to reuse ( long tall ). Just my take. Good luck with your search. William
