Title: My Penton Flat Tracker

I'm pretty close to finishing my Penton Flat Track racer.
I used a 1972 Jackpiner frame. A 1976 Penton/KTM 400 engine.
Wider than usual Arces triple clamps.
19" rims. 130 wide Shinko flat track tires.
Barnes flat track spool hubs, knockoff nuts, with rear disc brake.
Vortex Johnny Murphy flat track handlebars.

Pic works fine for me, and shows your usual great work very well! Did you do any fork angle changes or other frame mods?

Rob  Did the 400 mtr. bolt in the frame ? If not what mods. are done/?[?]

The boltup of all the KTM motors is the same.

Wow Bawb!

That bike looks awesome.
Happy to see that you kept the signature KTM 400 white color.

Not to nit pik, but I see that you kept the kick start lever and the left side shift lever.
Are you getting too old to push start it?  [:0]

For those of you who don't know Bob that well and what he does, He is an artist when it comes to restoration, welding, fabricating, etc. In my estimation is also one of the top Penton restorers around.

Alan, Thanks very much for the compliments. Yes I have to have a kick starter, that's one big reason I never finished my KR Penton, big red flag if I have to push start it....and I also would choose to shift on the left.
Larry, thank you very much for the offer. These are considered a flat track bend, and I like them a lot.
