My 72 Jackpiner was the only Penton in the show! There was real nice flat tracker with early KTM mtr. Chapion frame. I told the Penton story .:)

Pretty sure the flat tracker belongs to a friend, actually a Kenny Roberts chassis.

Thanks for the great picture Dale. Were you there? I thought I saw a Champion tag on the frame. What a great event!:)

Thanks for posting that photo of the short tracker.
That is not a Kenny Roberts frame.
So, it should be a Champion frame.

I am not an expert when it comes to dirt track frames, but I do know a KR frame when I see one. Hint: This bike has a rear frame loop and the swing arm is not beefy.

If you want to see more of the Quail go on youtube - 2019 Quail M C Gathering . I learned a lot about Brough Superior. A man from louisiana owns 6 of them & he rides them! It was almost to much to see in 1 day![:p]
