United Surface Finishing in Canton, Ohio will do them. They turn them down then re chrome so the diameter is correct. Will also straighten if needed. Its pricey however, last set they did for me ran about $340

You can reach them at 330-453-2786, ask for Chris

Hope this helps

I tried Franks also. No luck. I'll give race tech a call. Thanks Carl.

Well crap. If you have no luck at Race Tech, here is something you can check in to. When I was doing a lot of hyd. repair, I sometime had to have the cyl. rams rechromed. I took them to a hyd. repair shop here in St. Louis and they sent them to a company and had them hard chromed. If they had a new seal I would think they could be rechromed to the proper dia. Maybe worth looking into. HTH, D

Dennis, I spoke with United surface refinishing and they said they used to do them, but they had issues with how they would come out. There equipment is geared for larger tubes so they stopped doing fork tubes. I'll have to look into other cylinder repair shops.
