Hello, I have been working on a 1976 Penton 250 for a couple years. Both engines were basket cases so I am slowly finding parts as I put one back together. The manual shows a thrust washer in between the kick shaft gear and rathcet gear on the kick start. When I took these motors down neither had them installed between these two gears.I assume there should be one but neither had it.Is it necessary and does anyone have a size for it if it is needed and material it is made from?
