Tried to sharpen it a bit, but still can't make out face. Certainly some geeky rider dude to wear red Barber/Belstaff pants in front of such an enthusiastic crowd of spectators. His brother wouldn't be so embarrassing ... he'd be in style, as usual.[8D] Ciao!

Another hint and maybe a better face photo.....think it's the guy on the left.....not sure who is on the right but I think they were team mates at the next 6-Days in Sweden??? The one on the right I think didn't trim that mustache for close to two weeks for some reason?[:I]:D

I wonder if you guys knew just how much us "average enduro riders" were rooting for you back then! Before the web, etc provided almost instant updates. We'd wait for Cycle News to get the latest info on how the teams did...how tough was it...who did well...etc etc...
And then we'd enter a Qualifier or a National Enduro and get to ride the same events as the best in our sport.
How many kids on the play-ground got to shoot hoops with Michael Jordan?
A wonderful aspect of our sport...

Wow, Mike, so you chose the photo of you and me just to demonstrate how ugly the Barber pants really are, and there you are looking good with your MX ones. Not that I'll point out they aren't Hi-Point. Designed by some Swedish Motocross has-been, "Torsty" something.

Richard, what a great thing you said about the michael Jordon thing. I never thought of it in that way. Your right! How cool is that? I only rode in 2 Nat. Enduros . Back then you didnt have to Qualify. It makes it even better with your perspective. Thank You![:p]

Thanks Richard and Pat also for those kind words....the off-road community was the BEST, always enjoyed every minute of it and everyone at every event.:)

Now as for you Tom no one, especially me never gave those red Barber pants a second thought especially when you rode like you did at that 6-Days a most impressive ride. And IMO that last day at that event was worse than the day from #3LL the 5th day before that wiped out 75% of the entire competitors. Now do you think anyone was looking at those red Barber pants when you were leading some of the best riders in the World......don't think so.:D
