Thanks . It will be sad to see it go, but I just don't think I will get to it...Way to many other projects.
It appears you have taken V012 off of ebay, are you going to relist it?
Thanks Rick
Any chance you are willing to sell 2 of the shocks in your picture separately?
I'm trying to restore V074, and could sure use them. Also looking for a 68 tall airbox.

Someone got a nice project off ebay. Excited to see it completed.
OK all you sharp eyed Steel Tanker guys.......
What is this machine missing that only a very few of the early machines came from the factory without ? The photos will provide you with the answer....
And, what might this machine have that only the very, very early ones had? Just to be fair, this particular item is not visible in any of the photos, you will need to know about this peculiarity to have the answer.
Paul
Paul - are you referring to a steering damper? The steering stem nut has dimples.

Not the steering damper.
Looking for something that is missing that only the very early machines came without.

Frame mounted fork stops.
Hi John, you guessed it...:D Actually for you it was not a guess as you know a lot about those early machines being the son of one of the earliest Penton Team riders, Mr. Al Born.

So V012 has a new owner.
Paul met him and we all encouraged him to come
on the site and share the new bike with everyone.
Hoping it made it to the right hands.
