Title: Bing Carb on 1976 MC5 250

The gas flow to the carb is flooding the carb. Gas just pours out the vent tube. Anybody know what's causing this?

Float level not correct.

Sticking carburetor float.

Sticking float needle valve.

Dirt or contamination at float needle seat.

Bad or worn float needle/needle seat.

Fuel tank vent hose restricted causing tank pressure.

accessory one-way check valve (ball) system in fuel tank cap or fuel tank vent hose sticking causing fuel tank pressure. Also have seen those cross-bar clip on vent hose holders cause problems.

I would start with the first possible problem: float level not correct.
