Working on a 1974 125 SD with a VDO speedo/odo.
The 2 tabs on the rotating ring in the drive unit are sheered off.
A poor design imo, but that's beside the point...

Any thoughts on a repair?
Or a shop that does repairs or supplies just a replacement ring?

Many thanks to Bob Gilman for sending us a correct VDO drive in excellent condition.
The test ride shows...a working speedo/odo!
