Over the past couple years, the supply of swingarm bushings for cush drive equipped CMF models pretty much dried up. So, after a little trial and error, I came up with replacements for the steel and rubber style these bikes were originally equipped with. These are machined from Dupont Delrin High-Performance Acetal Resin ( https://www.dupont.com/products/delrin.html ) which is just as strong as the originals but will not fuse or rust to the pivot bolt like the originals. Note the flange face on these provides the same amount of standoff (4.5MM) as the tube on the originals that protruded out of the center and pressed against the frame.
Pictures of the bushings are here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/z5hqLHhx1BBmT6MVA
Installation is easy, freeze them overnight and then grease the swingarm tube and just tap them in with a rubber mallet. I made up 5 sets in the first batch and I will make up a bunch more if anyone is interested.
Price is $32.00 per pair which includes shipping in the US. If anyone has any interest in ordering some, let me know.
I also made up a bunch of kick stand bushings out of the same stuff for 72's with the kickstand under the swingarm, so if anyone needs any of those. ping me. Price for those is $16.00 per pair with shipping.
Thanks,
Kevin
