Title: 1974 and 1976 175 motors

Whats the difference between the two years of the 175 motor?  I know the cases are the same, what about the top end; porting, etc.

Ummm. I was under the impression that the 76 motors had different porting to remove some of the "hit" on the power band.  Thanks Larry, I appreciate the input.

74 motor may have welded steel shift drum. Early motors had these.
