Title: 175cc Puch Engine
Post by: Kip Kern on November 05, 2002, 11:41:49 AM
I know I'll take a beating for this:  Wanted, 175cc Puch engine and shop manual, for "69" Penton project.  Yes, this is for real as I have the original "69" spec sheet to prove it!  No, I have not gone crazy since my recent retirement from the military!

Kip I think that was a 125 Puch that Leroy tested.   I do have a couple of Puch engines a 175 and a 125, available for sale.

Hi Doug:

Are the Puch motors complete?  I'm restoring a couple and could use 'em.  How much are you asking for them and do you have any other Puch parts available?

Thanks!

Bill

I have a NOS Wiseco 63mm Puch piston assembly if that is at all needed in the venture.

Kip:   In your book KTM Weltmeister-mark aus Osterreich   Page 89  Third paragraph.  Even if you can't read Deutch you can see that originally the talks between John and Erick they were not positive on which engine to use.  More at Mansfield  Doug
