Title: GAS TANK CAPACITY DIFFERENCE 77 & 78 GS6

Can someone tell me if there is any difference in gas tank capacity between the 77 and 78 GS6 bikes? On internet it says 78 is 2.5 gallons but could not find 77 or a second post to confirm 78. Thanks for any help.
