Title: Forks Swap Options
Post by: Paul Haywood on March 30, 2023, 02:21:19 PM
Hey guys,

Building my first vintage racer, a 1973 Jackpiner. Leaning towards Worx Shocks on the rear and doing a fork swap up front, which is currently fitted with the OEM 32mm Ceriani fork and a fork brace. Seems like most are running the 35mm Ceriani, what other fork swaps are you guys out there racing?

Thanks!  Screenshot 2023-03-30 144049.jpg

I have 32s on my 125 and they work fine in the woods. I know the 175 is a good bit heavier though. I have 35s on my 250. They have about an inch more travel.

Sorry for the late reply. In my opinion, you're right on track. I put Racetech Gold Valve Emulators in a set of 35mm Ceriani forks. I ran the new version of the Worx shocks in the rear. That set up worked great. I really enjoyed racing the Jackpiner. Great power delivery and turned great in the woods.
