I am selling my 1970 Penton 125cc Steeltanker. I restored it in 2005/2006 (with help from Ron Carbaugh, Doug Wilford, and Dane Limbaugh(?)).
After restoration, it sat proudly in my office for 17 years. Then in Nov 2023, after 67 years of perfect health, I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. Sold my biz, sold my bldg, and retired.
So, I need to move the Penton on to someone who can enjoy and nurture it as it deserves.
I haven't started it in many years, but the last time I did, it started rightup and ran like a top.
I have both old and current pics, which I will find and post.
I had it listed with a local dealer for $9000, but no joy. I'd like to get $7000 for it (about what I have in it).

Hi all,
I'm sad to see that Larry is selling his beautiful Steeltank bike. I know it was a labor of love for him to restore this bike and no expense was spared. After the restore was completed it was displayed in the office of his business in Tulsa along with a couple other Penton bikes he restored. The person lucky enough to buy it won't be disappointed.

Larry is a class act and a true gentleman. Who ever buys this bike will be getting a gem.
Hi Dennis! Hope all is well with you! Your Mudlark was my 2nd fave Penton ever!
Stupid stroke! Still, coulda been lots worse. I'm walking and restauranting; will start driving again in 2026.
Take good care!
