Hi everyone,
A new batch of photos has been posted on the POG website.
They are photos taken by Debbie Houghton in 1997 and are of the special Penton display that I put together at the AMA Vintage Days event at Mid-Ohio where I had John Penton show up and do autographs.
This was a special event in that with all the excitement that was created with the display and John being there, this resulted in Paul Danik and I holding meetings at Dale Baris's Penton Honda shop in Amherst and putting together what is now known as the Penton Owners Group.
John Penton was also excited to see all the people that showed up. In a couple of the photos you can see him showing the x-rays of his back operation that he had earlier that year where several of the discs in his back were replaced with carbon fiber discs and held together with titanium screws and rods.
Jack showed up and brought along the new limited edition KTM 200 Jackpiner and 125 Six Day bikes that are also shown in the photos.
Take a look at the people in the background of the photos and perhaps you can see yourself if you were there.
Here is a link to the photos that Al referred to in his post above.
