Title: Gone but not forgotten....
Post by: Paul Danik on July 11, 2025, 04:33:19 AM
Two of the folks who will be sorely missed at Pentonville VMD are Ron Carbaugh and Dane Leimbach, pictured here at an earlier Penton Owners Group display / function.

I am sure that Dane would be extremely proud of the fact that his granddaughter, Riley, has become involved with the Penton Owners Group and will be on hand at Pentonville VMD. Riley has been coming to the Penton Owners Group meetings and has expressed an interest in helping the POG at such events. Possibly Riley might be enticed to bring along a few of her items that belonged to her grandfather to display in tribute to Dane, if so, surely some Dane Leimbach stories would be forthcoming.

I am sure that Ron had a hand in helping a few of the owners of the Pentons that will be displayed in getting their machines completed, and maybe a few of the machines that will be on hand originated from Ron's collection.

Ron and Dane are just a couple of the numerous folks who were very much involved in all things Penton over the years that might be gone, but they are most certainly not forgotten.

Was thinking about Ron and his bride during these last few weeks of Texas flooding in Kerrville. Sad indeed of all the loss.
