Title: LOVE was the theme at Pentonville VMD.
Post by: Paul Danik on July 27, 2025, 05:10:50 AM
If there was one thing in more abundance yesterday at Pentonville VMD than the heat and humidity, it was the LOVE for John Penton that permeated from those gathered to honor John Penton as he nears 100 years of age.

The LOVE stories are endless, such as the one Billy Morris tells of how he came to LOVE John Penton as he transported John to bike week in Florida numerous times over the years. Just how much does Billy LOVE John Penton, he named his son after John Penton, and no, Billy didn't name his son John.

Penton William Morris  has grown into a fine young man as was evident to one and all yesterday as his proud father beamed with pride at how Penton William is just about as tall, if not taller, than Jack and Jeff Penton.

Speaking of Penton William Morris, and Jack and Jeff Penton, when those three PENTONS were added to the Pentons on display yesterday, along with the ones that had to leave to get to their respective starting grids, the goal of having a Penton for each of John Penton's 100 years was met with one to spare, and if the frame that was buried under the pile of parts POG President Rick Bennett had piled behind the POG sales cart is counted, there were PENTONS to spare!

The stories told yesterday were endless, as was the obvious LOVE for John Penton shared by one and all.
