n 2013, Producer/Director Todd Huffman interviewed John Penton for the film "PENTON, The John Penton Story" narrated by Grammy Winner, Lyle Lovett. John was 88 at the time. In December of 2024 he interviewed him again for the new film "Blackwater: 50 Years of GNCC Racing" 4th KTM North America's Amherst, OH facility in John's hometown. He was 99 then.
