Twas the night before York and all through the town,
Lots of old men were running around.
You see for tonight with most of their kind,
they are young once again if only in their mind.
Sweet dreams tonight but first thing tomorrow,
off to the swap meet with money they did borrow.
Steel Tankers, MC-5s and CMFs galore,
were tucked into the booths that covered the floor.
They talked and they dickered with all of the sellers,
who were all hoping for cash and wide-open cellars.
As the day wore down and the deals were made,
old friends made the rounds and goodbye they bade.
Into the trucks and off they all went,
only to get home to be asked, just how much they had spent.
